Kapuskasing 

We are a fully wheelchair accessible home, staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and up to 2 adults sharing living space on each side.

• ​Both homes are divided in 2 with 2 people living on each side

• Sharing one large kitchen

• 2 spacious bedrooms on each side

• A living room and a dining room on each side

3rd: We are a fully wheelchair accessible home, double staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and up to 5 adults.

• 3 spacious bedrooms

• 1 comfortable living room, open concept

• 1 large kitchen and dining room

• 1 bathroom with large accessible bathtub (using mechanical lift system)

• A large attached screened in/covered deck with plenty of space to relax and visit with family and friends.

 

7th: Double staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 5 adults reside in the home and 1 adult in the attached apartment suite.

• 5 comfortable bedrooms on the second level and 1 apartment suite attached to the home

• 1 comfortable living room with plenty of room for comfy seating for all

• 1 large kitchen and dining room

• A large attached deck and plenty of outdoor furniture

We will support individuals with:

1.  Connecting with family and friends by supporting them to invite family and friends over to the house, calling them, sending cards and emails.

2. Shopping: ie. personal errands and groceries.

3. Banking/financial: ie. going to the bank, budgeting, completion of ODSP form, income reports.

4. medication: ie. picking up prescriptions, ensuring medications are taken as prescribed.

5. Medical assistance: ie. support with doctor, dentist, optometrist appointments.

6. Laundry: ie. support with sorting, washing and drying.

7. leisure activities: ie. enjoying a movie night, entertaining a friend or family, participating in community activities such as concerts, festivals.

8. Home maintenance: ie. participating in household chores
